Renovation Update

As of August 31/13
The construction is nearing completion!  The walls are up, the new multi-purpose room is in with special folding doors, the new carpets have been laid, and the circulation desk is in progress.  The shelving will be re-installed after Labour Day and final touches will be completed.  We are hoping to have the keys back by September 9/13 and anticipate a two-week closure while we move back in.  During the closed period, the book drop at the temporary location will be closed and the book drop at the main library will be re-opened. There is a lot of work needed to find places for everything.  The library will re-open once everything is in place, inspections have been completed, and appropriate permits have been given.  We will keep patrons updated as we know more.
