Pincher Creek & District Municipal Library Refurbishment Project
Pincher Creek, AB –
May 14, 2013: It’s time for a facelift at the Pincher Creek
& District Municipal Library. In
addition to new carpeting and paint, a multi-purpose room will be constructed
for videoconferences, quiet study, and other uses. The contract for refurbishment was awarded to
Scott Construction Group, Calgary, AB.
For public safety as
construction proceeds, the library will be closed from Saturday, June 8, 2013
until mid-August 2013. The library will
hold a grand re-opening after Labour Day.
Please stay tuned for announcements on delivery of services during the
summer months.
The Summer Reading
Program for elementary students will proceed at a Main
Street location. Dates and times for this program
will be announced later.Patrons of Pincher Creek & District Municipal Library should be reminded that library cards can be used in any Chinook Arch Regional Library. This includes Lethbridge, Crowsnest Pass, Fort Macleod, Glenwood, Claresholm, and Cardston. For a complete list of member libraries, check the library website at www.pinchercreeklibrary.ca. For patrons travelling around Alberta this summer, ask about the Alberta Library Card and the ability to borrow books from participating libraries within the province.
